Role Overview
Looking for an experienced Software Designer to drive software architecture, design, and development for advanced microscopy and imaging systems .
The role requires strong expertise in C++ and Java, software engineering best practices, and device integration, along with the ability to provide technical leadership and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design software architectures, components, technical specifications, and interfaces for complex applications
- Develop maintainable, scalable software using C++ and Java, applying OOP principles and design patterns.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to software engineers
- Develop software integrating embedded systems, device drivers, hardware interfaces, APIs, and communication protocols.
- Drive end-to-end SDLC activities, including design, development, testing, and release
- Ensure software quality through unit, integration, and system-level testing.
- Leverage automation, AI-assisted development tools, and Agile practices to improve engineering efficiency
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong programming expertise in C++ and Java.
- Solid understanding of software architecture, OOP, design patterns, and component-level design
- Experience in software development for embedded systems, hardware integration, device drivers, or complex engineering applications.
- Knowledge of software testing, debugging, and end-to-end SDLC processes
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in microscopy, medical devices, scientific imaging, industrial automation, or scientific instruments.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted software development and automation -_-
- Experience collaborating with global, cross-functional engineering teams.
Pay: ₹2,500,000.00 - ₹4,000,000.00 per year
