Here is the job description:

The Quality Engineer role is to plan, design, architect, and deploy effective test suites and regimes for in-house product development, software application development, information system launches, and operations systems enhancements. This individual will apply proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help validate, verify, communicate, and resolve systems/software application issues through careful automation and functional testing in order to maximize the benefit of IT investments and initiatives.

• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables. Demonstrate fundamental knowledge of software development lifecycle and participate in requirements gathering, estimating, design, development, and implementation • Responsible for continuous self-study, trainings, partnering with more senior members of team and seeking out opportunities to broaden scope to stay up to date with industry and organizational trends. Seeks feedback from senior team members for development and effectively incorporate feedback into work and behaviors. • Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with staff, management team, vendors, and end users • Participate in full development life-cycle from requirements gathering, estimating, design, development, and implementation. • Assist in the documentation and cataloging of developed software • Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations and company policies across areas of organizational responsibility

Professional Experience/Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related experience • Strong object-oriented programming skills and familiarity with software design patterns • Strong foundation in QA principles with experience in Automation and Manual Testing • Experience developing production level software including tools/languages such as .NET development platform, C#, Html and Javascript • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle database systems • Experience with Jira and GitHub
