Required Skills & Experience
WebMethods Administration— Manage, configure, and support WebMethods platform and interfaces on K8s.
· WebMethods Expertise— Strong hands‑on experience with API GW, IS, UM, MWS, TN, Deployer, AT, WMIO.
· Kubernetes Proficiency — Experience with deployments, services, ingress, config maps, secrets, autoscaling.
· Kubernetes Operations— Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot microservices running on Kubernetes AKS clusters.
· Production Support— Provide L2/L3 support, resolve incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and ensure SLA compliance.
· Linux Administration— Good command‑line and troubleshooting skills.
· CI/CD Pipelines— Support automated build and deployment of Bamboo pipelines.
· Incident & Change Management — Follow ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management.
· Performance Optimization — Tune WebMethods and Kubernetes workloads for stability and efficiency.
· Documentation & Communication — Create runbooks, SOPs, and communicate clearly with stakeholders, developers, and leadership.
· Preferred Qualifications
· Docker Expertise
· Scripting — Shell, Python, or Groovy for automation.- Cloud Platforms — Azure, AWS, or GCP exposure (Azure preferred).
· Networking Fundamentals — DNS, load balancing, firewalls, certificates.
· Monitoring Tools — Experience with logging and monitoring stacks.
· Strong communication skills — Ability to explain technical issues to non‑technical teams and collaborate effectively.
· Prior experience in 24x7 production support environments
