Area Sales Manager
Job Overview: We are looking for a dynamic Area Sales Manager to drive sales growth, develop customer relationships, and expand market presence in Pune. The role involves direct customer engagement, channel management, and solution-based selling of machines, SPMs, and industrial automation products. Key Responsibilities: Manage and grow sales in the assigned territory. Identify and develop new customers, OEMs, and project opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients. Conduct techno-commercial discussions and prepare quotations & proposals. Coordinate with application, design, and service teams for customer solutions. Monitor competitor activity and market trends. Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets and ensure timely collections. Support channel partners/distributors. Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, and territory plans. Represent the company in meetings, exhibitions, and events.
Key Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of capital equipment, machine manufacturing, and SPM industry. Expertise in Test & Measurement, Calibration instrumentation, sensors, torque/force testing, data acquisition systems. Excellent sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills. Understanding of ISO/NABL standards & calibration practices. Ability to translate technical features into business/ROI value. Target-driven, self-motivated, independent working style. Strong English communication skills
