Role Overview
As a Software Developer at Sure Services PVT LTD in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, you will analyze customer requirements and design software solutions tailored to specifications. Your role will involve implementing IP stacks and ensuring compliance with AVB guidelines while following agile development processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze customer requirements or specification proposals.
- Design and implement software based on customer specifications using object-oriented thinking.
- Implement or configure IP stacks to meet functional requirements.
- Maintain a strong understanding of Layer 2 Ethernet switch configuration and its operational principles.
- Analyze timing requirements and optimize the startup of the stack.
- Validate the AVB software stack against AVB guidelines.
- Adhere to company development and quality processes such as SAFe Agile and ASPICE.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient in C++ with knowledge of C (preferable).
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP protocol and stack functional behavior.
- Experience with multi-threading and synchronization techniques.
- Experience in the Automotive Ethernet domain and familiarity with Ethernet protocols like IEEE 802.3u and IEEE 802.3ab.
- Experience in configuring and validating the AVB stack.
- Knowledge of AVB protocols (IEEE 802.1AS).
- Proficient in using network tools/utilities such as tcpdump and Wireshark.
- Experience with operating systems like QNX and Linux.
- Familiarity with design/architecture tools like EA.
- Strong technical skills, preferably in the automotive domain.
- Understanding of SAFe/Agile development methodologies.
- Strong logical, analytical, and debugging/problem-solving skills in TCP/IP communication.
