Key Responsibilities
- Develop sophisticated algorithms for improved search and ranking in contact management.
- Design and build highly scalable distributed backend systems.
- Collaborate across teams to address complex technical challenges within the Alexa ecosystem.
- Influence product and technology strategy by defining product features and refining system architecture.
- Establish the architectural foundation for future product phases.
- Write code, run tests, and iterate on designs.
- Review and monitor deployments, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Work closely with product partners to translate requirements into technical plans.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of design or architecture experience for new and existing systems.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with both technical and business partners.
- Experience in building large-scale distributed systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
