Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled and technically proficient Web Developer with hands-on experience in developing, managing, and maintaining websites across WordPress, Shopify, and other web platforms.
The ideal candidate should have strong development and troubleshooting capabilities, along with exposure to AI-powered website features, API integrations, automation, and custom web development.
Key Responsibilities
- Website Development: Develop, customise, and maintain websites using WordPress, Shopify, WooCommerce, and other CMS/e-commerce platforms.
- Custom Development: Build and modify themes, plugins, templates, landing pages, and website functionalities based on project requirements.
- Shopify Development: Manage Shopify stores, Liquid customisation, third-party apps, product integrations, and e-commerce functionality.
- AI Integrations: Implement AI-powered website features such as chatbots, intelligent search, product recommendations, automation, and AI-driven customer experiences.
- API & Technical Integrations: Work with REST APIs, webhooks, payment gateways, CRM platforms, and third-party applications.
- Website Optimisation: Improve website speed, responsiveness, Core Web Vitals, technical SEO, security, and overall performance.
- Website Maintenance: Manage hosting, domains, SSL, backups, updates, bug fixes, and ongoing technical support.
- Development Coordination: Collaborate with UI/UX designers, digital marketing teams, and project managers to deliver projects on time.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and implement scalable solutions across multiple client websites.
Candidate Requirements
- 1–3 years of practical website development experience, preferably with an agency or web development company.
- Strong hands-on experience with WordPress, Shopify, WooCommerce, and website customisation.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and Shopify Liquid.
- Experience with custom themes, plugins, e-commerce integrations, and responsive web development.
- Understanding of APIs, webhooks, and third-party application integrations.
- Exposure to AI APIs, AI chatbots, workflow automation, or AI-based website functionality.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of website hosting, cPanel, DNS, SSL, security, and performance optimisation.
- Understanding of technical SEO, GA4, GTM, and tracking integrations will be an advantage.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple websites and development requirements.
Preferred Additional Skills
- Experience with React, Next.js, Node.js, or other modern web technologies.
- Familiarity with OpenAI, Gemini, or other AI APIs for custom integrations.
- Knowledge of automation platforms such as n8n, Make, or Zapier.
- Experience with Git/GitHub and development version control.
Compensation
Salary: Up to INR 30,000 per month, based on experience and technical capabilities.
