Technical Lead Role

Company: AlphaCentrix Location: Mumbai/ Onsite-Saudi Arabia (Work-from-Office/Onsite with the expectation of transitioning based on business needs).

Travel Requirement: This role requires frequent travel, with approximately 50–70% travel expected across client locations, regional offices, and other business destinations as required to support project delivery and stakeholder engagement.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly accomplished Technical Lead with 10+ years of overall professional experience in implementing, supporting, and managing portfolio management and capital market technology platforms. The successful candidate will lead complex technology initiatives, system integrations, workflow automation projects, and platform enhancements while partnering with business stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors.

This role requires strong expertise in capital market systems, business analysis, solution design, SQL development, system integration, and stakeholder management. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of delivering technology solutions that support investment management operations, portfolio management processes, and enterprise business workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Technology Leadership & Solution Delivery

• Lead the implementation, enhancement, and support of portfolio management and capital market platforms.

• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable technology solutions.

• Evaluate client workflows and identify integration opportunities across applications, databases, and enterprise systems.

• Design and document functional and technical specifications for custom developments, system integrations, and platform configurations.

• Drive end-to-end solution delivery from requirements gathering through deployment and post-production support.

• Collaborate with business users, technology teams, and external vendors to ensure successful project execution.

• Provide technical leadership and guidance on platform architecture, integration design, and best practices.

• Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while ensuring timely delivery and high quality outcomes. • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, central IT teams, and third-party technology vendors.

• Support production environments and coordinate resolution of technical issues, defects, and system enhancements.

• Ensure adherence to governance standards, security requirements, and technology best practices.

Business Analysis & Process Automation

• Analyze customer business requirements and recommend technology solutions aligned with operational objectives.

• Identify opportunities to automate business processes and improve workflow efficiency.

• Document business processes, functional requirements, data mappings, and integration specifications.

• Develop and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, script creation, execution support, and defect tracking.

• Partner with stakeholders to validate business requirements and ensure successful solution adoption.

• Support change management and user training activities as required.

SQL Development & Data Management

Develop advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and database solutions to support business requirements. Utilize SQL Server technologies including SSIS and SSRS for data integration, reporting, and workflow automation.

Perform data analysis, reconciliation, troubleshooting, and reporting activities. Support system integrations, data migration initiatives, and interface development projects.

Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity across systems and applications.

Develop operational and management reports to support business decision-making and platform monitoring.

Required Qualifications Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

Relevant certifications in SQL Server, Business Analysis, Project Management, or Financial Technology are desirable.

Experience

• 10+ years of overall professional experience in technology delivery, system implementation, and support.

• Minimum 7+ years of experience supporting portfolio management, investment management, capital market, or financial services technology platforms.

• Proven experience delivering complex technology solutions, system integrations, and workflow automation initiatives.

• Experience working with investment management firms, asset managers, capital market organizations, or financial institutions is highly preferred.

• Demonstrated success working with multiple stakeholders, business users, technology teams, and third-party vendors.

• Experience supporting production environments and managing issue resolution processes.

• Willingness to travel and work on long-term assignments in Saudi Arabia as business needs require.
