About the Role

We are looking for an experienced GCP DevOps Lead to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), container orchestration, and cloud-native services. This is a leadership role requiring excellent technical expertise and the ability to mentor engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Build and optimize robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform.

• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications on Kubernetes (GKE).

• Monitor cloud infrastructure, application performance, and ensure high availability.

• Implement DevOps best practices, security standards, and compliance policies.

• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline release processes.

• Optimize cloud resources for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.

• Lead incident management, root cause analysis, and production support activities.

• Mentor junior DevOps engineers and drive continuous process improvements.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps/Cloud Engineering.

• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Expertise in Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline development and automation.

• Strong experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (GKE) and container orchestration.

• Experience with Docker and containerization technologies.

• Good understanding of Git, branching strategies, and version control.

• Knowledge of Linux administration and shell scripting.

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Cloud Monitoring.

• Strong understanding of networking, IAM, security, and cloud best practices.

• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or similar deployment tools.

• Knowledge of Ansible or other configuration management tools.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• GCP Cloud certifications will be an added advantage.
