Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Strategic Project Lead with a strong background in software engineering, AI data programs, and technical project delivery. The ideal candidate should have experience managing software engineering data initiatives involving AI model training, coding evaluations, code generation, and software development benchmarks.

The role involves managing end-to-end project delivery, maintaining quality standards, coordinating technical teams, and ensuring projects meet agreed timelines and performance expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage software engineering data projects and AI-related technical initiatives from planning through delivery.
• Coordinate software engineers, technical contributors, reviewers, and team leads.
• Monitor project progress, productivity, quality, costs, and delivery timelines.
• Review source code, test cases, technical documentation, and project deliverables.
• Identify technical issues, quality gaps, and areas requiring improvement.
• Develop and implement processes to improve project efficiency and delivery quality.
• Manage resource allocation, contributor onboarding, training, and performance tracking.
• Prepare project reports and communicate progress, risks, and updates to stakeholders.
• Develop corrective action plans to address project delays and quality-related challenges.
• Use Python, SQL, or similar tools for reporting, data analysis, and quality monitoring.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of overall professional experience in software engineering, technical project management, or related fields.
• Direct experience managing software engineering data programs for AI or machine learning projects.
• Understanding of AI model training, coding data, RLHF, preference data, software engineering benchmarks, and model evaluation.
• Strong technical knowledge with the ability to understand source code, test cases, and software development workflows.
• Experience managing distributed technical teams and quality assurance processes.
• Knowledge of Python, SQL, or similar programming and data analysis tools.
• Strong project management, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to independently manage ongoing projects and ensure successful delivery.

Work Requirements:

• Remote working opportunity.
• Commitment of 8 working hours per day.
• Minimum 4 hours of overlap with the Pacific Standard Time (PST) working schedule.
• Candidates must be available to take up the assignment immediately.
