Senior Agentic AI Developer – Customer Self-Service
Design and build AI-powered capabilities for an enterprise Customer Self-Service platform, enabling customers to complete tasks, manage products and services, understand their consumption, and interact with enterprise systems through intelligent agents.
The developer will turn customer journeys into secure, production-grade agentic experiences integrated with SAP and enterprise platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Build conversational and task-oriented AI agents for customer self-service.
Develop agent workflows for onboarding, change requests, product lifecycle, fund management, consumption analysis and service requests.
Build MCP servers, tools and APIs that allow agents to securely interact with enterprise systems.
Integrate agents with SAP S/4, SAP BTP and other backend services.
Implement tool/function calling, agent orchestration, context management and RAG.
Build reusable agent capabilities rather than point solutions for individual use cases.
Implement authentication, authorization and customer-level access controls for agent actions.
Develop human-in-the-loop flows for sensitive or high-impact operations.
Implement agent tracing, observability, evaluation, guardrails and automated testing.
Contribute to the customer-facing conversational and self-service experience.
Take solutions from prototype through production deployment.
Key Skills
Strong software engineering background with Java, Node.js/TypeScript and/or Python.
Hands-on experience building LLM and agentic AI applications.
MCP, tool/function calling and agent orchestration.
REST / OData APIs and enterprise integrations.
SAP BTP / CAP and integration with SAP S/4.
RAG, embeddings and enterprise knowledge integration.
Authentication, authorization and application security.
Cloud-native development, CI/CD and automated testing.
AI evaluation, tracing and observability.
Preferred Experience
Experience with OpenAI, SAP Generative AI Hub / AI Core, MCP, LangGraph/LangChain, Semantic Kernel or similar technologies.
