The role
Job description
Role Overview
We are looking for a passionate, high-potential Junior Full Stack Developer who loves writing clean, strictly typed TypeScript code and is curious about cybersecurity. You will work across the entire product lifecycle—from designing interactive dashboard analytics and scanner execution views in Next.js to building end-to-end type-safe Hono APIs, writing Drizzle ORM queries, and orchestrating security scan workflows.
What You Will Do (Responsibilities)
- Frontend Engineering (Next.js & React 19):
- Build responsive, fast, and accessible UI components and dashboards using React 19, Next.js App Router, and Tailwind CSS.
- Implement data-fetching, optimistic updates, and cache invalidation using TanStack Query (React Query).
- Collaborate on real-time scan execution visualizers, live DAG stage monitors, and vulnerability inspector drawers.
- Backend & API Development (Hono & TypeScript):
- Develop end-to-end type-safe RPC routes using Hono with strict
request/response contracts.
- Enforce robust input validation and defensive parsing using Zod schemas in our shared validation library.
- Implement multi-tenant isolation, session validation, and strict role-based access control (RBAC).
- Database & Data Modeling (PostgreSQL & Drizzle ORM):
- Write clean, index-optimized relational queries using Drizzle
ORM against PostgreSQL / Neon.
- Work with relational data structures covering assets, endpoints, vulnerability backlogs, scans, and audit logs.
- Security & Workflow Integration:
- Learn and apply web application security best practices (OWASP Top 10, CSRF, SSRF, XSS, and SQLi prevention).
- Coordinate asynchronous background tasks (scans, report exports, retest triggers) with distributed workflow engines.
- Ensure complete audit logging for administrative mutations and security actions.
- Code Quality & Testing:
- Write automated unit and integration tests using Vitest and Playwright. Follow strict TypeScript guidelines (noImplicitAny, zero unchecked types). Participate in active pair programming and collaborative code reviews.
What We Are Looking For (Requirements)
- Education: B.Tech / B.E. / BCA / MCA in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience with strong project portfolios.
- Core Languages: Strong proficiency in JavaScript
(ES6+) and TypeScript fundamentals.
- Frontend Skills:
- Hands-on experience with React (hooks, state management, component lifecycles).
- Familiarity with modern CSS frameworks (Tailwind CSS preferred) and responsive UI design.
- Basic understanding of Next.js / Server-Side Rendering (SSR) vs. Client Components.
- Backend & Database Skills:
- Understanding of RESTful API design principles, HTTP status codes, and JSON handling.
- Familiarity with Node.js/Bun runtimes and modern web frameworks (Hono, Express, or Next.js API Routes).
- Practical understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and basic SQL querying.
- Mindset & Soft Skills:
- Passion for writing clean, self-documenting code.
- Eagerness to dive deep into cybersecurity concepts (VAPT, CVEs, CWEs, CVSS scoring).
- Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and proactive communication.
- Familiarity with Git (branching, commits, pull requests).
Bonus Points (Nice-to-Haves)
- Experience with Drizzle ORM or Prisma.
- Experience with Zod schema validation and TypeScript type inference. Familiarity with Turborepo or monorepo architectures (pnpm workspaces).
- Basic understanding of Docker, background job queues (Redis/Hatchet/BullMQ), or WebSocket/SSE.
- Personal hobby or interest in ethical hacking, CTFs (Capture The Flag), or Bug Bounty programs.
