About AUKLR Technologies
AUKLR Technologies is building intelligent digital cockpit, connected vehicle, and AI-driven mobility solutions for next-generation vehicles. Our platform combines Android-based digital instrument clusters, vehicle connectivity, telematics, ADAS, Edge AI, cloud intelligence and automotive electronics. We work closely with EV OEMs and mobility companies to develop production-grade automotive software and hardware platforms. Our hardware team designs and validates the electronic sub-systems that power these platforms — from ECU design to sensor integration and in-vehicle networking.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Hardware Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience in electronic hardware design, embedded electronics, and automotive or industrial systems. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in schematic design, PCB layout, hardware bring-up, and debugging. Familiarity with automotive communication interfaces and power electronics is a strong advantage.
You will contribute to designing and validating hardware platforms — including ECUs, telematics modules, digital cockpit hardware, and sensor integration boards — that are used in production automotive and EV programs at AUKLR Technologies.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop electronic hardware for automotive ECUs, EV modules, and connected vehicle platforms.
• Create schematics and PCB layouts for power, digital, and mixed-signal designs using Altium Designer or KiCad.
• Participate in hardware bring-up, board-level debugging, and functional validation for new designs. • Support DVT/EVT test execution including functional, thermal, EMC/EMI, and environmental testing. • Integrate vehicle communication interfaces — CAN, LIN, Ethernet, UART, SPI, I2C — into hardware designs.
• Work on power supply circuits — DC-DC converters, LDOs, load switches, and basic battery management circuits.
• Collaborate with embedded firmware engineers for hardware-software integration and co-debugging. • Support component selection, BOM review, and procurement for prototype and production builds. • Assist prototype builds through internal lab and contract manufacturer (CM/EMS) coordination.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to hardware documentation — schematics, test reports, revision logs.
• Support customer integration, vehicle testing, and field debugging activities.
• Work collaboratively with Android, embedded software, mechanical, and validation teams.
Required Skills
• 3 to 5 years of hardware/electronics design experience in automotive, EV, industrial, or embedded electronics domains.
• Hands-on experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools — Altium Designer, KiCad, or equivalent. • Working knowledge of microcontrollers and embedded processing platforms.
• Familiarity with digital communication interfaces — CAN, LIN, SPI, I2C, UART, USB. • Basic understanding of power electronics — DC-DC converters, LDOs, and battery or load circuits. • Experience with hardware bring-up, bench debugging, and board-level validation. • Comfortable using lab instruments — oscilloscopes, logic analysers, power supplies, and DMMs. • Awareness of automotive component standards — AEC-Q100/Q200 and IATF 16949 basics. • Good understanding of EMC/EMI design considerations.
• Comfortable with Git, design data management, and issue tracking tools.
Must to Have
• Any exposure to Android Automotive hardware platforms or digital cockpit ECU design. • Experience or coursework related to EV systems — BMS, charging hardware, or power electronics. • Familiarity with telematics units, GNSS modules, or V2X hardware.
• Basic knowledge of ISO 26262 functional safety or AUTOSAR hardware abstraction concepts. • Basic embedded C understanding for hardware-software co-debug scenarios.
• Prior internship or work experience with automotive OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, or EV/mobility startups. What to Share When Applying
