Role Summary
We are looking for a Java Backend Developer with 4+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, AWS Cloud, and Kafka. Exposure to DevOps practices and a basic understanding of AI technologies will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Backend Development
Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
Develop RESTful APIs and Microservices-based applications.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.
Collaborate with frontend and backend teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
API & Integration
Design and integrate REST APIs.
Work with third-party systems and internal services.
Ensure secure and reliable API communication.
Handle authentication and authorization mechanisms.
Event-Driven Development
Develop and maintain Kafka producers and consumers.
Implement asynchronous messaging and event-driven workflows.
Monitor and troubleshoot Kafka-related issues.
Cloud & DevOps
Deploy and maintain applications on AWS.
Work with services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, and CloudWatch.
Support CI/CD pipeline implementation and automation.
Work with Docker and containerized deployments.
Participate in release and deployment activities.
Database Management
Design and optimize database queries.
Work with relational and NoSQL databases.
Ensure data integrity, performance, and scalability.
Collaboration
Work closely with Product Managers, Architects, QA teams, and DevOps engineers.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
Contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and delivery.

AWS Certification is a plus.
