Design end-to-end Azure data platform architectures using Azure Databricks, ADLS Gen2, Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Azure SQL.

Skills:

• Define Lakehouse architecture standards based on Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers).

• Architect large-scale batch, streaming, CDC, and event-driven data solutions.

• Lead Databricks platform setup, cluster governance, Unity Catalog implementation, and workspace strategy.

• Establish enterprise data governance, security, compliance, lineage, and metadata management frameworks.

• Design scalable ETL/ELT frameworks using PySpark, Delta Lake, Auto Loader, and Delta Live Tables.

• Develop architecture blueprints, standards, reusable frameworks, and best practices.

• Drive cloud modernization and migration initiatives from on-premises platforms to Azure Cloud.

• Provide technical leadership to Data Engineers, ML Engineers, and DevOps teams.

• Implement CI/CD, DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, and automated deployment strategies.

• Work with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Lead performance optimization, cost governance, and capacity planning initiatives.
