About the Role
We are looking for a Software Developer (AI) who is passionate about Generative AI, automation, and building practical AI-powered solutions. This role is designed for a developer who enjoys experimenting with emerging AI technologies and using them to solve real-world business and technical problems. You will work across AI application development, LLMs, prompt engineering, automation, APIs, AI-assisted coding, and agentic workflows.
The ideal candidate should have a strong programming foundation, preferably in Python, along with hands-on experience using modern AI tools and the curiosity to continuously explore new AI technologies.
- AI Application Development Design, develop, test, and maintain AI-powered applications and internal tools. Build practical solutions using Generative AI, LLMs, APIs, and automation. Convert business and operational requirements into functional AI-driven applications. Develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts and iterate them based on feedback. Work closely with technical and business teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
2. Generative AI & LLM Development Work with LLM-based platforms and models such as OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, and other emerging AI technologies. Integrate LLM APIs into applications and business workflows. Develop effective prompts and structured AI workflows for different use cases. Experiment with model capabilities, context handling, structured outputs, and AI-based decision workflows. Evaluate AI-generated outputs and continuously improve application performance and reliability.
- AI Automation & Agentic Workflows Identify repetitive processes and develop AI-powered automation solutions. Build intelligent workflows using AI agents, APIs, webhooks, and automation platforms. Explore and implement agentic AI workflows capable of performing multi-step tasks. Work with tools such as n8n, Make, Zapier, or similar automation platforms. Integrate AI solutions with internal systems, databases, SaaS applications, and third-party platforms.
4. AI-Assisted Software Development Use AI-native development tools such as Cursor, Replit, Claude Code, or similar platforms to accelerate development. Leverage AI for code generation, debugging, refactoring, testing, documentation, and rapid prototyping. Follow a Vibe Coding / AI-assisted development approach while maintaining an understanding of application architecture, logic, and code quality. Build lightweight applications, internal tools, scripts, dashboards, and proof-of-concepts using AI-assisted development.
5. Python & Backend Development Develop automation scripts, backend services, APIs, and AI integrations using Python. Work with REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, authentication, and third-party integrations. Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code. Debug technical issues and optimize application performance. Work with databases and structured/unstructured data as required.
- RAG & AI Knowledge Systems Develop or contribute to Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) based applications. Work with documents, datasets, APIs, and other knowledge sources to provide relevant context to LLMs. Explore vector databases, embeddings, document processing, and semantic search. Improve the accuracy and relevance of AI-generated responses through better data and retrieval strategies.
7. Research & Continuous AI Learning Stay updated with the latest developments in Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, automation, and AI developer tools. Research new AI models, frameworks, platforms, and APIs. Quickly evaluate new technologies through prototypes and proof-of-concepts. Identify opportunities to apply emerging AI technologies to business and technical challenges.
8. Collaboration & Requirement Understanding Work with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and identify AI opportunities. Translate business problems into technical and AI-based solutions. Clearly communicate technical concepts, limitations, and proposed solutions. Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams during implementation and testing.
Required Skills
- 2–4 years of professional experience in Software Development, AI Development, Automation, or a closely related technical role.
- Strong programming knowledge, preferably in Python.
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI / LLMs.
- Practical experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, or equivalent platforms.
- Good understanding of Prompt Engineering.
- Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, and third-party integrations.
- Understanding of software development fundamentals, debugging, and version control.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Replit, Claude Code, or similar tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of data structures, programming logic, and application workflows.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Good to Have
- Experience building AI agents or agentic workflows.
- Hands-on experience with RAG applications.
- Knowledge of vector databases and embeddings.
- Experience with LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google Gemini.
- Experience with n8n, Make, Zapier, or similar automation platforms.
- Knowledge of SQL and databases.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub.
- Experience with FastAPI, Flask, or similar Python frameworks.
- Exposure to cloud platforms or deployment tools such as Vercel, Replit, AWS, or Azure.
- Experience developing AI-powered chatbots, copilots, internal tools, or automation solutions.
- Understanding of AI evaluation, prompt testing, and model performance optimization.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
