Backend Developer

Job Description
Kairox AI Tech is looking for a Backend Developer to build scalable, secure and reliable backend systems that power our AI products, business applications and enterprise platforms.
You will work closely with our AI, frontend and product teams to develop APIs, databases, integrations and backend services that support real-world business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain robust backend applications and REST APIs.
- Build scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI.
- Design and manage relational databases and data models.
- Develop APIs for web and mobile applications.
- Integrate third-party APIs, AI services and external business systems.
- Implement authentication, authorization and role-based access control.
- Build background jobs, automation workflows and asynchronous processes.
- Work with PostgreSQL, Redis and database optimization.
- Develop integrations with CRM, ERP, payment, communication and other business platforms.
- Write clean, maintainable and well-documented code.
- Debug issues, optimize performance and improve system reliability.
- Work with Git/GitHub and participate in code reviews.
- Deploy and maintain backend services using Docker and AWS.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, AI engineers and product teams to deliver complete features.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Python.
- Experience with FastAPI, Flask or Django.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and backend architecture.
- Good knowledge of PostgreSQL or other SQL databases.
- Understanding of authentication, authorization and API security.
- Experience with Git/GitHub.
- Knowledge of JSON, webhooks and third-party API integrations.
- Understanding of asynchronous programming and background jobs.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Good to Have
- Experience with Redis, Celery or similar task queues.
- Docker and AWS experience.
- Experience building production-grade APIs.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture.
- Experience integrating AI/LLM APIs.
- Experience with CRM/ERP systems.
- Understanding of CI/CD and GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with React/TypeScript is a plus.
