Job Overview

Research Connect is looking for a motivated and technically curious Full Stack Developer Intern to assist in developing, maintaining, and improving web applications and internal business tools.

The selected candidate will gain practical experience in frontend and backend development, database management, API integration, debugging, and application optimization. The role also offers opportunities to work with modern development frameworks, cloud-based services, and AI-powered coding tools.

This internship is ideal for candidates who enjoy solving technical problems, building functional applications, learning new technologies, and converting business requirements into practical software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining responsive web applications.
• Build and improve frontend interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks.
• Support backend development using technologies such as Node.js, Python, PHP, or other suitable programming languages.
• Work with databases to store, retrieve, update, and manage application data.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs and connect frontend applications with backend services.
• Debug application issues, identify errors, and implement solutions to improve performance.
• Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-structured code.
• Assist with authentication, form validation, data handling, and application security best practices.
• Test application functionality across different browsers and screen sizes.
• Work with Git and GitHub for version control and collaborative development.
• Assist in deploying applications and maintaining development or testing environments.
• Develop internal tools, dashboards, automation scripts, and web-based business applications as required.
• Explore AI-assisted coding tools to improve development productivity, debugging, and documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to understand technical requirements and deliver assigned tasks within deadlines.
• Document code, technical processes, and application updates.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Freshers and recent graduates with relevant technical knowledge or project experience are encouraged to apply.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with at least one backend programming language, such as JavaScript/Node.js, Python, PHP, or Java.
• Basic understanding of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Knowledge of frontend and backend development concepts.
• Familiarity with APIs, JSON, and client-server communication.
• Basic knowledge of Git and GitHub is preferred.
• Strong logical thinking, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Willingness to learn new programming languages, frameworks, and development tools.
• Ability to work independently, communicate progress, and meet project deadlines in a remote environment.

Candidates with exposure to any of the following technologies will have an added advantage:

• Frontend: React.js, Next.js, Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS
• Backend: Node.js, Express.js, Django, Flask, Laravel
• Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Firebase
• Development Tools: Git, GitHub, VS Code, Postman
• Deployment: Vercel, Netlify, Render, or cloud hosting platforms
• AI Tools: ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar AI-assisted development tools

Knowledge of every listed technology is not required. A good foundation in programming and a willingness to learn are more important.
