Job Title : Agentforce Developer

Experience Required : 4 - 6+ yrs

Location : Noida, Gurugram, Pune, Bangalore

Work Mode : Hybrid

Role Summary

The role involves creating AI agents on Salesforce Agentforce, integrating them with Data Cloud, core CRM objects, and enterprise systems to streamline various workflows .

Key Responsibilities

· Building and configuring agents in Agent Builder, including managing topics, classification descriptions, scopes, and instructions .

· Proficiency in Agent Script is required .

· Adhering to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile Development Life Cycle (ADLC) processes .

· Developing custom agent actions using Salesforce Flow, Apex invocable methods, prompt templates, and Agent API or external services .

· Authoring and tuning prompt templates in Prompt Builder and grounding responses using Data Cloud retrievers, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and record/flex grounding techniques .

· Configuring Einstein Trust Layer settings, including masking, toxicity detection, audit trails, and data grounding boundaries .

· Modeling and ingesting data into Data Cloud, including Data Management Objects (DMOs), data streams, identity resolution, and search indexes to support agent grounding .

· Testing agents via Agentforce Testing Center, building test-case libraries, and iterating to resolve topic misclassifications and action failures .

· Deploying agents across multiple platforms such as Service Cloud, Experience Cloud sites, Slack, MCP-connected clients, and voice channels .

· Designing escalation paths for agent-to-human handoff, Omni-Channel routing, and conversation transcript logging .

· Managing release lifecycle using Salesforce DX (SFDX), unlocked packages, and CI/CD pipelines; monitoring agent performance and costs through Agentforce analytics .

Required Skills

· At least 3 years of Salesforce development experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, Flow, Platform Events, Named Credentials, and managing governor limits .

· Hands-on experience with Agentforce tools including Agent Builder, Prompt Builder, and custom actions .

· Working knowledge of Data Cloud modeling and grounding techniques .

· Fundamentals of prompt engineering and debugging large language model (LLM) behavior .

· Experience with REST/API integration patterns, external services, and middleware such as MuleSoft or equivalents .

· Familiarity with Git-based DevOps, sandbox strategies, and deployment automation .

Certifications

· Required certifications include Salesforce Certified Agentforce Specialist and Salesforce Admin .

· Preferred certifications are Platform Developer I/II, Data Cloud Consultant, and AI Associate .

Nice to Have

· Experience with Headless 360 is considered a plus .
