About the Role

We are seeking a highly accomplished and strategic finance professional to lead finance, investments, governance and business operations across a diversified promoter-led ecosystem. The role requires strong leadership capability, commercial acumen, confidentiality, and the ability to build scalable financial systems while supporting promoter level strategic decision making.

This position is ideal for a senior finance professional with exposure to Family Office operations, Strategic Investments, Agriculture/Agri-Business, Mineral & Commodity sectors, and Technology/Startup ecosystems. The selected candidate will play a critical role in transforming finance into a strategic business function through robust governance, investment evaluation, operational discipline, and data driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end to end planning, execution, monitoring and successful closure of strategic and cross-functional projects while ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines and approved budgets.

• Develop detailed project plans, implementation roadmaps, milestones and governance frameworks to ensure timely execution and effective resource utilization.

• Prepare and present project MIS, executive dashboards, business reviews, financial reports and progress updates for senior management and promoters.

• Conduct detailed financial analysis including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, profitability analysis, ROI, payback analysis and capital allocation recommendations for new and ongoing projects.

• Evaluate commercial feasibility of business proposals, contracts, strategic investments and expansion opportunities through financial modelling and business case preparation.

• Monitor project costs, working capital, cash flows and resource utilization to ensure financial discipline and achievement of approved business targets.

• Drive process improvements, automation initiatives and standard operating procedures to enhance operational efficiency and governance.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, statutory requirements, company policies and project governance standards.

• Support senior leadership in strategic planning, business expansion, operational restructuring and decision-making through analytical insights and commercial recommendations.

• Build strong stakeholder relationships with internal business leaders, financial institutions, consultants, vendors and other external partners.

Desired Candidate Profile

• MBA (Finance) from a recognized institute (Mandatory).

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Project Management, Commercial Finance, Business Strategy or Corporate Finance.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to convert financial data into actionable business insights.

• Excellent commercial knowledge including costing, contracts, profitability and business evaluation.

• Strong financial background in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, MIS and business performance analysis.

• Excellent stakeholder management, presentation, communication and leadership skills.

• Experience in diversified business groups, infrastructure, logistics, mining, power, EPC or manufacturing will be preferred.
