Role: Head – Enterprise Architecture

Location: Jaipur Reporting To: Head of Technology

Experience

· 20-25 years in IT, with strong focus on Enterprise Application Architecture for Resiliency , Availability, Performance , Scale and agility

· Prior experience in BFSI domain is mandatory

Role Purpose:

Driving Architectural Innovation for Enterprise business applications in Bank to ensure RAS (Reliability, Availability and Scale ) and alignment with architectural standards for long term sustainability and scale.

Key Responsibilities

· Complete ownership of Application Architecture across business applications , APIs, middleware, and third-party systems with on-premise , cloud and SaaS.

· Creation of architectural standards and ensure application alignment with enterprise architectural standards with long terms sustainability and business growth.

· Work closely with business, product, IT and partner teams to understand requirements and drive architectural innovation

· Drive adoption of AI , API-first architecture, microservices, and event-driven application architecture

· Ensure compliance with banking regulations, security policies, and audit requirements

· Track delivery timelines, risks, and ensure on-time execution of integration projects

· Support production issues, escalations, and critical incident resolution

· Team management and leading the team towards collaborative and innovative culture , cross functional synergies for AI adoption and scale

Required Skills & Expertise

· In-depth expertise and demonstrated Tech Leadership driving Enterprise Application standards.

· Strong expertise in setting up and managing end to end application architecture cutting across multiple platforms and deplo

· Hands-on understanding of:

o Designing Architectural frameworks for High performance enterprise applications with Resiliency and Scale.

o Expertise on Serverless , Cloud native , Infinite scale application design on Kubernetes containerized platforms with Microservices & event-driven architecture

o Expertise on message queues (Kafka , MQ) and open source stacks

o End to end Solution design including OS, DB, Middleware, app servers , web servers , LB, WAF with omnichannel experience.

o Expertise on new age databases with horizontally scalable like Postgress, Mongo DB etc.

o Application framework design with Site Resiliency Engineering across multiple locations , hybrid deployment , multi cloud architecture

o Expertise on managing Application Clusters at Database /OS level and app servers /web server levels

o Expertise on REST based APIs management ,Middleware / ESB platforms (Apigee, MuleSoft, IBM Integration Bus, OSB, etc.) and Integrations.

o Exposure to Agentic AI platforms and tech stacks.

· Good knowledge of security frameworks (OAuth2, JWT, API security)

· Experience in handling large-scale, high-volume transactional systems

· Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in banking

· Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

· Ability to work in a high-pressure, delivery-driven environment

Preferred

· Exposure to cloud-based integrations (AWS/Azure)

· Experience in digital banking / fintech ecosystem integrations

· Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
