About the role:
We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer with strong expertise in automation testing, quality engineering practices, and leadership capabilities. The candidate will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test strategies, ensuring high-quality product delivery, and leading QA initiatives across projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright or Cypress

• Perform manual and automated testing across applications and systems

• Define and implement test strategies based on risk assessment and business impact

• Work closely with development teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines

• Ensure quality across Point-of-Sale systems (Oracle Xstore preferred)

• Utilize AI tools (e.g., Copilot) to enhance productivity and testing efficiency

• Manage and track defects using JIRA and version control via GitHub

• Lead QA efforts, including planning, estimation, and execution

• Mentor junior team members and drive best practices in QA processes

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery

• Handle multiple projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets
  

Required Skills

• Strong experience in QA and automation testing (Playwright/Cypress)

• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

• Experience with POS systems (Oracle Xstore is a plus)

• Proficiency in test design, execution, and defect management

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work in dynamic and ambiguous environments
