We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Engineer with strong expertise in Python, FastAPI, Document AI, PDF Processing, and LLM integrations to build and scale AI-driven document processing systems.

Key Skills:

✔ Python & FastAPI (8–10+ Years)

✔ PDF Processing (PyPDF2, pdf2image, etc.)

✔ GPT-4 Vision API / LLM Integrations

✔ Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Storage, Firestore, Cloud Tasks)

✔ OCR & Document Processing Systems

✔ Asynchronous Processing, Queues & Background Workers

✔ Audit Trails, Data Lineage & Exception Handling

✔ Document Taxonomies & Classification Workflows

✔ Financial Services / Compliance Domain Experience (Preferred)

Responsibilities:

• Build scalable backend services for processing large PDFs (200+ pages)

• Implement AI-powered document classification and confidence scoring

• Design and maintain document taxonomies and validation logic

• Support multi-page document assembly and exception workflows

• Implement auditability, taxonomy versioning, and classification rationale

• Optimize performance, reliability, and infrastructure costs
