Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and passionate Jr. Manual QA Engineer to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing web, mobile, and desktop applications to ensure high-quality software delivery. The candidate should possess strong analytical skills, a good understanding of QA processes, and experience in manual testing methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of web, mobile, and desktop applications.

• Create clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and test scenarios.

• Identify, document, and track bugs/issues effectively.

• Work closely with developers and cross-functional teams to resolve defects.

• Conduct functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.

• Validate application functionality against business requirements.

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups and sprint discussions.

• Ensure software quality and smooth user experience before production release.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong experience in Manual Testing.

• Good understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

• Experience in writing test cases, test plans, and bug reports.

• Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or similar tools.

• Understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and Agile methodologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Good to Have

• Basic knowledge of API testing using Postman.

• Knowledge of SQL and database testing.

• Exposure to cross-browser and mobile testing.
