Key Responsibilities
- Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting, employing innovative approaches to build solutions and resolve technical problems.
- Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that operate synchronously with appropriate systems.
- Leverage enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools to enhance code quality, delivery speed, and productivity across complex deliverables, while validating outputs through peer review, automated testing, and secure coding standards.
- Apply knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain to maximize the value of automation.
- Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, ensuring design constraints are met during software code development.
- Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets to continuously improve software applications and systems.
- Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data, using insights to enhance coding hygiene and system architecture.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 3+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Proficient in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages.
- Practical experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools, demonstrating the ability to critically evaluate and refine AI-generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI usage in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity considerations and secure handling of inputs/outputs.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies.
- Exposure to cloud technologies, including AWS offerings and cloud-agnostic app development and deployments. Front End - React / JavaScript.
