Job description
Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain applications using the MERN stack. • Build responsive frontend interfaces using React and TypeScript. • Design and implement REST APIs using Node.js and Express.js. • Create database schemas, indexes and queries in MongoDB. • Implement authentication, authorization, input validation and error handling. • Integrate payment providers, banking services and other third-party APIs. • Implement reliable transaction workflows, including duplicate-request protection and retry handling. • Write maintainable code and appropriate unit and integration tests. • Diagnose performance issues across frontend, backend and database layers. • Work with QA and infrastructure teams to support releases and production troubleshooting. • Participate in code reviews and maintain API documentation. Required Skills • 2–5 years of full stack development experience. • Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and the MERN stack. • Experience designing and consuming REST APIs. • Working knowledge of MongoDB data modelling and query optimization. • Understanding of authentication, role-based access and secure API development. • Familiarity with asynchronous programming and Node.js error handling. • Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows. • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. Good to Have • Experience with Next.js, NestJS, PostgreSQL or MySQL. • Familiarity with Redis, message queues and background jobs. • Experience with Docker, CI/CD and cloud deployments. • Understanding of microservices and event-driven systems. • Experience with fintech, payments, wallets or transaction processing systems. Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
