Java Developer – 8–10 Years Experience
We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with 8–10 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, SQL, and database technologies, along with experience working in Agile development environments.
The candidate will be responsible for developing robust backend solutions, participating in architectural discussions, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and mentoring junior developers.
Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java-based applications.
Develop robust and high-performance backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
Design and implement RESTful APIs and Microservices.
Participate in system design, architecture, and technical decision-making.
Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code.
Work with relational databases and optimize complex SQL queries.
Integrate applications with third-party APIs and external systems.
Implement asynchronous and event-driven communication using technologies such as Apache Kafka.
Identify and resolve performance, scalability, and production issues.
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Write unit and integration tests and maintain good test coverage.
Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
Mentor junior and mid-level developers and contribute to technical knowledge sharing.
Troubleshoot and resolve critical production issues when required.
Strong knowledge of Java 8/11/17 or later.
Strong understanding of OOP, Collections, Exception Handling, Generics, and Multithreading.
Good understanding of Java Memory Model and concurrency concepts.
Experience with Java Streams, Lambda Expressions, Functional Interfaces, and Optional.
Strong understanding of JVM concepts and performance optimization.
Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
Experience with Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, and related Spring technologies.
Experience developing RESTful APIs.
Understanding of dependency injection, configuration, profiles, and Spring Boot Actuator.
Strong experience designing and developing Microservices-based applications.
Understanding of service-to-service communication.
Experience with API Gateway, service discovery, configuration management, and fault tolerance.
Understanding of distributed systems and common microservice design patterns.
Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka or similar messaging technologies.
Understanding of topics, partitions, consumer groups, offsets, producers, and consumers.
Experience implementing event-driven communication.
Understanding of message delivery, retries, error handling, and dead-letter topics.
Strong experience with SQL and relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
Strong knowledge of database design, indexing, joins, transactions, and query optimization.
Experience with Hibernate/JPA.
Experience with JUnit and Mockito.
Understanding of unit testing, integration testing, and test-driven development practices.
Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins/GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience working with Docker and containerized applications.
Exposure to Kubernetes is preferred.
Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP is an advantage.
