Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled .NET Core API Developer with 4+ years of professional experience and a strong focus on external service integrations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs, integrating third-party services, and ensuring secure, high-performance communication between systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure RESTful APIs using .NET Core. Integrate APIs with various external services such as payment gateways, authentication providers, and third-party data sources. Implement service-to-service communication using industry-standard protocols (REST, SOAP, gRPC). Ensure secure integration using OAuth2, JWT, API keys, and other security mechanisms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement integration requirements. Optimize integration processes for performance, scalability, and reliability. Monitor and maintain integrations with proactive error handling and logging. Write unit and integration tests for all developed services. Document APIs and integration workflows using Swagger/OpenAPI and internal tools.

Technical Skills:

Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET Core/.NET 5+. Proficient in building and consuming RESTful APIs. Experience with external services integration (e.g., payment processors, SMS/email providers, identity providers, etc.). Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, API throttling, rate-limiting, and security best practices. Familiarity with Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, and API testing/debugging. Experience with Entity Framework Core, LINQ, and SQL databases (SQL Server/MySQL/PostgreSQL). Experience with asynchronous programming, error handling, and logging (e.g., Serilog, NLog). Working knowledge of TFS, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker).
